Sudan head coach and former Black Stars manager, James Kwasi Appiah, has expressed his hope that Ghana will secure qualification for the FIFA World Cup from their group.

Speaking in an interview with Luv FM, Appiah shared his optimism for the national team, emphasizing the importance of making it to the prestigious tournament.

It’s my hope and prayer that Ghana qualifies to the World Cup from their group, he stated.

Ghana is currently competing for a spot in the next World Cup, and the team’s performance in  the qualifiers will be crucial in determining their fate. With a rich history in the tournament, including their memorable quarter-final run in 2010, 2014 and Qatar 2022, the Black Stars will be looking to return to the global stage.

As the qualifiers progress, fans and football stakeholders will be hoping the team can rise to the challenge and secure their ticket to the tournament.

Black Stars will be playing their world cup qualifier matches against Chad and Madagascar this month.
