French football legend Zinédine Zidane attended the Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday to watch his son, goalkeeper Luca Zidane, make his tournament debut for Algeria against Sudan.
Now, two more of the sport’s biggest names are reportedly traveling to the event. According to the Moroccan publication le360, France captain Kylian Mbappé is expected to attend Morocco’s crucial match against Mali this Friday. He may be joined by his international teammate and Ballon d’Or winner, Ousmane Dembélé.
Both star players are said to have received invitations and share a close friendship with Moroccan defender Achraf Hakimi. Their potential arrival follows the notable appearance of Zidane earlier in the week.

The North African side, coached by Walid Regragui, began their tournament with a 2-0 win over the Comoros on December 21 in Rabat.
CaptainAchraf Hakimi participated normally in the training session held yesterday, alongside his teammates, and is expected to continue his preparations as usual.
According to the available information, Walid Regragui is considering the possibility of including Achraf Hakimi in the match against Mali, given his physical and technical readiness to participate in the game.
