Asante Kotoko beat Hearts Of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium in their week nine fixture in the Ghana Premier league

Guinea striker Morifing Donzo scored the winning goal for Asante Kotoko in what proved to be the winner over arch rivals Hearts of Oak.

The result extends Kotoko dominance over Hearts of Oak beating them four times in their last five encounters.

The last time Hearts Of Oak Kotoko was in 2023 under coach Samuel Boadu.

The Phobians have tasted their first defeat of the season under coach Didi Dramani and are now fifth on the league log. The Rainbows boys will face All Blacks in their next fixture at Swedru sports stadium.

Despite the defeat the National Chapters Committee(NCC) of Hearts of Oak have issued a press release to thank their supporters for showing up to support the team despite losing the game by a goal to nil to their bitterest rivals.
