Medeama SC midfielder, Prince Owusu has been shortlisted for the Black Stars squad for the upcoming international friendlies against Japan and South Korea .
The 21 year old has been rewarded with yet another national team call – up following his remarkable performances in the Ghana Premier League.
The technically gifted left footer made his debut against the Central African Republic during the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers and has continued to impress with his consistency and maturity on the field during Medeama games .
Owusu joins a driven midfield unit of the Black Stars led by Thomas Partey and Kwesi Sibo for the Asian tour. The international friendlies is set to come off on Friday November 14 ,2025 where the stars will face Japan at the Toyota Stadium before butting heads with South Korea on Tuesday, 18th November 2025.
The game will be aired on major sports network and streaming platforms.
The upcoming friendlies forms part of the Ghana Football Association scheme to keep the team active getting them ready physically, tactically and psychologically in tune for the world stage and Prince Owusu has bagged another valuable opportunity to showcase his qualities on the international stage.
