The Technical Committee of Referees (CTA) of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has formally recognized 10 significant refereeing mistakes in La Liga this season. This admission follows a detailed review of 51 specific incidents using a new analysis tool named “Tiempo de Revisión” (“Review Time”).
The report states that the majority of these confirmed errors are connected to the use of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system. The review process involves examining key moments where the implementation of the rules or the intervention of technology has been called into question.
The club mostly negatively impacted by these confirmed mistakes is Real Madrid. The review suggests several decisions have unjustly gone against them.

Conversely, the report identifies FC Barcelona and Atlético Madrid as the teams that have benefited the most from the incorrect calls. This does not imply any fault of the clubs, but rather highlights how the errors in officiating have influenced match outcomes in their favor.
This acknowledgment by the CTA marks a continued effort toward greater transparency in Spanish football officiating. The use of the new “Tiempo de Revisión” platform aims to provide clearer and more accountable reviews of critical match decisions.
