Semenyo on Target as City Held by Spurs
Antoine Semenyo continued his impressive start to life at Manchester City, finding the net in a thrilling 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Ghanaian forward doubled City’s advantage on the stroke of half-time after Ryan Cherki had opened the scoring within the first ten minutes to put the visitors firmly in control.
The encounter proved to be a game of two halves. Manchester City dominated proceedings before the break but were unable to maintain their grip after the interval, as Dominic Solanke struck twice to haul Spurs back and secure a share of the points.
The draw deals a blow to City’s Premier League title ambitions, leaving them six points adrift of leaders, Arsenal.

For Semenyo, however, it was another standout moment. The goal was his fourth in a City shirt in just five appearances, underlining his growing influence in Pep Guardiola’s side.
With 12 Premier League goals to his name this season, only his teammate Erling Haaland (20) and Brentford’s Igor Thiago (16) have found the net more times than the former Bournemouth marksman.
