Siwelele Football Club has announce that Hearts of Oak striker Hamza Issah has been invited to join the club in South Africa for a 30-day assessment period.

The 23-year-old forward, born on 26 April 2002, arrived at the club on 15 February 2026 and will remain with the team until 17 March 2026. During his stay, Issah will participate fully in first-team training sessions and is scheduled to undergo a medical evaluation as part of the club’s standard assessment protocol.

Issah’s invitation follows a formal recommendation from Prosport International, a sports management agency with a strong presence across Africa. The agency identified Issah as a high-potential talent and facilitated the opportunity for Siwelele’s technical team to evaluate him firsthand.

The club has made all necessary travel arrangements and will cover the full cost of the player’s trip. During his time in South Africa, Issah will be provided with accommodation in a club-owned apartment, ensuring he can remain focused and comfortable throughout the evaluation period.

This 30-day trial will allow the coaching staff to conduct a thorough assessment of the player’s technical abilities, physical conditioning, tactical understanding, and character. It also provides Issah with a valuable opportunity to acclimate to the club’s environment and showcase his potential.

Siwelele Football Club remains dedicated to its strategy of identifying and nurturing talent from both local and international markets. The club views structured trials as an essential part of providing a fair and professional platform for emerging players to demonstrate their capabilities.

Issah arrives with a strong reputation following his recent performances in the Ghana Premier League with Accra Hearts of Oak. After rising through the ranks of the club’s junior side, the Auroras, he established himself as the top club’s top scorer last season. He netted 12 goals during the 2023/2024 season and has continued his form, scoring four times in the current campaign. His contributions have helped propel Hearts of Oak to 4th place in the league standings, reigniting optimism among the fanbase of winning this season’s GPL.

Ahead of his departure for South Africa, Issah is expected to feature in Hearts of Oak’s upcoming fixture at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, giving fans one last opportunity to see him in action before his assessment with Siwelele begins.
