‘Super Sub’ Pulisic Heroics Drag Milan to Serie A Summit

American forward Christian Pulisic needed just 24 minutes to conjure pure magic, scoring a sensational brace as AC Milan overturned a two-goal deficit to claim a vital 3–2 victory over Torino in Serie A.

By the 17th minute, the Rossoneri were already in deep trouble. Nikola Vlašić converted a 10th-minute penalty before Duván Zapata doubled Torino’s lead moments later, leaving Milan stunned.

But the away side clawed their way back. Seven minutes later, Adrien Rabiot pulled one back after being set up by Fikayo Tomori, offering a glimmer of hope before the interval.

The true turning point arrived when 27-year-old Pulisic was introduced, replacing Davide Bartesaghi in the 66th minute. Barely a minute after stepping onto the pitch, the American made an immediate impact, dragging Milan level with a composed finish.

With thirteen minutes remaining, Pulisic completed his brace, his second goal proving decisive as AC Milan sealed a dramatic 3–2 comeback win.

The victory sends Milan to the top of the Serie A table, tied on 31 points with Napoli but edging ahead on the head-to-head rule.

Pulisic is now on 7 goals and 2 assists in the league, matching Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martínez in the race for the Capocannoniere, the award given to the top scorer in Serie A.

A super sub. A super performance. And a super moment for Milan’s title charge.
