Ghana’s rising athletic stars have made the nation proud, securing a total of 12 medals at the African Youth Games 2025. The young team displayed exceptional skill and determination across four sporting disciplines namely badminton, athletics, karate, and golf
The medal count includes two gold, two silver, and eight bronze medals, highlighting both individual excellence and strong team depth. The gold-medal performances stood out as particularly brilliant moments, showcasing Ghana’s potential on the African stage.
Athletics and karate proved to be especially fruitful for Ghana, with athletes reaching the podium in multiple events. Contributions from badminton and golf further solidified the country’s impressive overall standing.
