Third Manager Sacked at Forest as Dyche Relieved of Duties
Nottingham Forest have parted ways with their third manager of the 2025/26 season, confirming the departure of Sean Dyche following a goalless draw against bottom-placed Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League.
“Nottingham Forest Football Club can confirm that Sean Dyche has been relieved of his duties as head coach”, club statement read.
Dyche, who took over from Ange Postecoglou in October, had been in charge for just 114 days, overseeing 25 matches.
During his tenure, he secured 10 victories and steered Forest away from the relegation zone. However, a series of poor results in recent weeks led to his dismissal.

Forest’s turbulent managerial situation began in September when Nuno Espirito Santo was sacked after a slow start to the season.
The club then turned to Postecoglou, who lasted only 39 days before also being shown the door after 8 winless games in charge.

Now, reports suggest that former Wolves manager Vitor Pereira is being lined up as the next man to take the helm at the City Ground, marking the club’s fourth managerial change of the campaign.
