In a thrilling showdown of the 2024 Division One League SuperCup final, Vision FC defeated Okwawu United 7-6 on penalties, at the Nana Konamansah Park, in Nsoatre.

The game ended in a goalless draw after 90 minutes of intense football, which went straight to a penalty shootout.

Vision FC’s Head Coach, Nana Kweku Agyemang, emphasized the importance of the winning the 4th edition of the DOL SuperCup.

“Winning this tournament will boost our confidence and I hope we’re able to carry this on into the Ghana Premier. This trophy will bring my players together and enforce that discipline they need to be able to excel in the Ghana Premier League.” He said.

The club’s immediate focus, however, shifts to the Ghana Premier League, with their debut game against Berekum Chelsea, scheduled for the first week of September at the Nii Adjei Kwadwo Park, in Tema.

As Vision FC prepares for this new chapter, the SuperCup win serves as a solid foundation for their ambitions in the top tier of Ghanaian football.
