Vision FC to Test Their Mettle Against Kotoko in Preseason Friendly
Vision FC will continue preseason preparations with a stern test against Asante Kotoko at the Cape Coast Stadium on Saturday, September 1, with kick off set at 3PM.
As the Eewo gear up for their maiden campaign in the Ghana Premier League, this encounter will serve as a crucial barometer to assess the team’s readiness for the top flight.
Vision has enjoyed a successful preseason, winning several matches and only suffering one defeat against Techiman Heroes in the 2024 DOL Super Cup which is a preseason tournament in which they won the ultimate.
After beating True Democracy FC to win the Manhean Cup earlier in the week, Vision has set sights on bigger challenges and will travel to Cape Coast to play 24-time GPL Champions Asante Kotoko.
Coach Nana Kweku Agyemang expressed his excitement and anticipation for the clash with Kotoko.
“We are looking forward to this match against Kotoko,” he said.
“It will be a great opportunity for us to test ourselves against one of the best teams in the league. We’ve had a good preseason, but we know that the Premier League will be a different challenge altogether.”
Vision FC will open their Premier League campaign at home against Berekum Chelsea on September 8th.
