‘We Accept Kotoko Defeat in Good Faith and Focused on All Blacks’ – Didi Dramani
Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has said that his team has accepted the defeat to bitterest rivals, Asante Kotoko in good faith and has turned attention to the Ghana Premier League matchday 10 fixture against Swedru All Blacks.
Hearts are coming off a painful 1–0 defeat to their arch-rivals Asante Kotoko in last Sunday’s Super Clash, but head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani insists his side have moved on and are focused on correcting their mistakes.
We’ve taken the defeat in good faith and picked out the positives going forward,” Dramani said ahead of the trip. “There were so many good aspects we took from the game against Kotoko, and we’ve been working hard to build on them.
The Phobians will look to return to winning ways when they travel to Swedru this weekend to the face newly-promoted side in the Ghana Premier League at the Swedru stadium.
Hearts currently sit in fourth place on the league table and will be hoping to close the gap on the leading pack, while Swedru All Blacks, who are yet to find consistency this season, will see this as an opportunity to make a statement against one of the league’s giants.
Dramani also spoke about the tactical challenge his side will face against the energetic All Blacks.
They’re tough opponents very direct and very strong in transitions,” he noted. “We need to make the right decisions in terms of stopping their transitional play and making sure we impose our style on the game.”
