Accra Hearts of Oak are set for a change  for the final stretch of the league season, with the club confirming a return to the Accra Sports Stadium. The Phobians will play their remaining five home fixtures at the Accra Sports Stadium following the temporary closure of the University of Ghana Stadium for renovation works.

The change in venue brings with it a focus on home form. This season, Hearts of Oak have utilized two different home grounds with different outcome.

At the Accra Sports Stadium, where they will now conclude their campaign, the team has played five matches, recording one win, three draws, and one loss. Meanwhile, their stint at the University of Ghana Stadium proved to be a fortress of resilience, yielding seven matches unbeaten with three wins and four draws.

The return to the Accra Sports Stadium comes at a pivotal moment in the season. Following a goalless draw with Heart of Lions on Saturday at the Kpando Sports Stadium, the Phobians remain firmly in contention for a top-four finish.

Hearts of Oak currently occupy 4th position with 42 points from 26 matches, level on points with Asante Kotoko SC and just one point behind second-placed Medeama SC.

The upcoming fixtures will present an opportunity for the Phobians to capitalize on home advantage.

With the season entering its decisive phase and the familiar surroundings of the Accra Sports Stadium awaiting them, Hearts of Oak will aim to convert their solid home record into a strong finish as they pursue their objectives in the top flight.
