EPL: Pep Guardiola Praises Semenyo Ahead of Bournemouth’s visit to the Etihad
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has hipped praises on Ghana international forward, Antoine Semenyo as they prepare to face AFC Bournemouth in the English Premier League this weekend.
The Ghanaian has been in fine form for the Cherries since the start of the 2025/2026 Premier League season, contributing to ten goals (6 goals and 4 assists) in just nine games.
This form has prompted Pep Guardiola to acknowledge how brilliant Semenyo has been this season describing him as “extraordinary player”.
“He’s very good, absolutely. He’s an extraordinary player”.
The Cityzens are fifth in the Premier League and will seek to bounce back to winning ways after a last week’s defeat to Aston Villa.
Meanwhile, Bournemouth have been very impressive this season. Lying second in the league, and four points adrift off Arsenal, the Cherries are yet to lose since a 4-2 defeat to Liverpool on opening day, a game in which Antoine Semenyo grabbed both goals.
