GPL: Aduana Seek Revival Against Lions in Kpando

Aduana FC will seek to bounce back to winning ways in the Ghana Premier League when they travel to Kpando to lock horns with Heart of Lions at the Kpando Sports Stadium on Friday.

The Fire Boys, strongly in contention for their third league little, are winless in their last two games. A lost against Bibiani GoldStars and a draw against Basake Holy Stars mean that Aduana relinquished their position at the summit of the GPL table to Medeama SC.

Lions themselves are not in brilliant form. They have not won any of their last three league games (2 draws, 1 loss) going in to the encounter in Dormaa. Lying in third place, they also have title ambitions of their own.

Aduana FC have endured mixed results on their travels this term. Having played six away games, they have been on the losing side three times, drawn once, and won twice. Their last trip to the Volta Region saw the Fire Boys come out 2-0 victors against Hohoe United in Hohoe.

Heart of Lions have particularly been very impressive on their home turf. They have won five times in six home outings, drawing once.

Without a single home loss and Aduana suffering three away defeats, this game promises to be cagey. Both teams have title ambitions and separated by just a single point, every duel, every pass, and every kick will be keenly contested.
