Didi Dramani urges Hearts players to play with “courage” as Apostles clash looms
Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has called on his players to show bravery and confidence ahead of their Ghana Premier League clash against Young Apostles on Sunday.
The Phobians head into the fixture on the back of a spirited comeback, having rallied from two goals down to secure a 2-2 draw against Swedru All Blacks last weekend. Despite that resilience, Hearts are still searching for their first victory in six matches.

Speaking during the club’s pre-match press interview of the game against Young Apostles, Dramani emphasized the need for his side to approach the game with courage as they aim to turn their form around.
“We need to play with courage. We have to encourage the boys to play with courage so that we can build the team’s confidence. Confidence is so important and it can only come when you are consistent with your ability to play with courage,” he said.
Hearts of Oak have struggled to convert home advantage into wins, going five consecutive home games without victory. All five matches have ended in draws, four of them goalless.
Currently sitting fourth on the league table, the Phobians trail leaders Medeama SC by six points. A win against Young Apostles could significantly boost their title push as they chase a 22nd Ghana Premier League crown.
