The closed-door encounter brought together two formidable camps.
A CAF contingent guided by its interim General Secretary, Samson Adamu, and a PAMOJA alliance assembled from the corridors of power across Nairobi, Dar es Salaam, and Kampala. The joint gathering underscores the scale of coordination required to pull off Africa’s first-ever tri-nation hosting arrangement for the African Cup Of Nations.
The East African bloc arrived in force. Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda each dispatched their national football federation presidents alongside government ministers, presenting a unified front that spoke volumes about the political and sporting will underpinning the PAMOJA hosting bid.
