Ghana’s scheduled friendly match against Raja Casablanca Athletic Women has been canceled. The game, set to take place in Casablanca on Monday, was called off just hours before kickoff.
According to the Ghana Football Association, the cancellation was due to circumstances beyond their control.
The Black Queens, Ghana’s senior women’s national team, recently intensified their Women’s AFCON preparations, suffering a narrow 1-0 defeat to Morocco last Friday.
This year, Ghana will make its first WAFCON appearance since 2018, aiming for a spot in the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
