Experience Golfer Emos Koblah, also known as ‘The Godfather,’ successfully defended his title to win the Seniors category at the 2025 Damang Open Tournament on Thursday,13th November 2025
Displaying his technique and pinpoint accuracy, Koblah navigated the Damang golf course to clinch the victory with a three-day total score of 219.
Koblah’s victory was a masterclass in consistency. He carded a 73 on the opening day, followed by a strong 71 on day two, and sealed the win with a 75 on the final day, ultimately overcoming a field of 13 other seasoned golfers.

In a post-tournament interview, the newly crowned champion acknowledged the tough conditions that defined the event. “This Damang course is very tricky,” Koblah stated. “The grass can stop the ball or make it go further than you wanted, making every shot a calculated risk.”
He credited his deep well of experience for allowing him to adapt and ultimately outmaneuver both the course and his opponents to become the Damang Seniors champion once again.
Koblah also praised the rising talent in the seniors division, noting they provided “some challenging moments,” and extended his gratitude to Goldfields Damang for its pivotal role in bringing back the prestigious PGA Open.
The victory underscored Emos Koblah’s status as a dominant force in senior golf, even at his age, ‘The Godfather’ still reigns.
