Aduana FC have named Samuel Boadu as their new head coach ahead of the 2026-27 football season.
The former Hearts of Oak and Berekum Chelsea manager takes over from Cioba Aristica, who departed the club at the end of the previous campaign.
The Dormaa-based outfit announced the appointment on Friday through an official statement on social media. “Aduana Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Samuel Boadu as the club’s new Head Coach,” the club stated, before adding, “Welcome to Dormaa, Mr. Boadu.”
Boadu arrives at Aduana after a two-year stint with Berekum Chelsea, where he helped the club maintain its Ghana Premier League status.
Despite Chelsea’s struggles in the drop zone for much of last season, the experienced tactician steered the side clear of relegation.

He established his reputation during a successful spell with Medeama SC before making a high-profile move to Hearts of Oak in 2021.
At Hearts, he engineered a remarkable turnaround, guiding the club from mid-table to the Ghana Premier League title and ending a 12-year championship drought.
He also secured the MTN FA Cup to complete a domestic double before successfully defending the trophy the following season.
Boadu now begins a new chapter with the Ogya Boys, with the responsibility of restoring Aduana FC’s status as genuine contenders for silverware in Ghanaian football.
