Ghana’s Black Spikers have made an emphatic start to their CAVB Zone III Women’s African Nations Championship qualifying campaign, recording back-to-back 3–0 victories over hosts Côte d’Ivoire and Benin.
In their opening fixture, Ghana travelled to Côte d’Ivoire and delivered a commanding straight-sets win over the hosts, taking the match 25–17, 25–13, 25–20. It was a statement start to the campaign, with the Black Spikers dictating play and giving the Ivorian side little room to settle.

They followed that up with an equally dominant performance against Benin, sweeping the contest 3–0 with set scores of 25–18, 25–17, and 25–14. The straight-sets victory underlined the team’s consistency and control across both matches, as they extended their unbeaten start to the qualifiers.

With two wins from two matches, Ghana’s campaign is off to a flying start as they continue their pursuit of a place at the African Nations Championship.
