Bodybuilding star Godwin Frimpong, popularly known as “The Beast of GH,” is set to represent Ghana at the 2026 IFBB Pro World Cup, the Roger Boyce Classic in Barbados.
The celebrated athlete will make his return to the competition on Saturday, 16 May 2026, in what many see as one of Ghana’s biggest individual sporting comebacks this year.
Frimpong will compete in the Professional division of the championship, marking his re-entry into international competition after a near two-year absence from the bodybuilding circuit.
Godwin Frimpong heads to Barbados with an impressive record. He has won the Man Ghana title three times, proving himself as one of the country’s top bodybuilders. In 2021, he also made history by winning the overall title at the prestigious Arnold Classic Africa, earning international recognition.
