Mr Ivan Bruce–Cudjoe, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Cabic Promotions and Management, has launched his campaign for the presidency of the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA).
The Longtime Boxing Administrator has unveiled a detailed roadmap to rebuild the sport from the grassroots up.
Under the banner “Rebuild Ghana Boxing,” Bruce-Cudjoe presented a four-point agenda focused on safety, national expansion, international credibility, and structural reform. A key pillar of his platform is the introduction of mandatory medicals and comprehensive insurance for all licensed boxers, a measure he called non-negotiable.
Safety first is not a slogan; it is a standard,” he stated.
His plan also includes launching boxing programs in all 16 regions of Ghana and restoring a national boxing league to discover talent beyond Accra. On the international stage, Bruce-Cudjoe pledged to restore relationships with the WBC, WBA, IBF, and WBO, with the goal of bringing major championship bouts back to Ghana.
The election is scheduled for June 4, 2026, at 9 a.m. at the Accra Sports Stadium.
