The competition begins with a four-day stretch of preliminary action. From July 24 to July 27, the SEC Centre will host the Round of 32 and Round of 16 bouts, as boxers across the various weight categories look to secure their places in the knockout stages.

Quarter-final contests follow on July 28 and July 29, narrowing the field considerably as boxers look to punch their way into medal contention.
