Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Solomon Agbasi has penned a heartfelt farewell message to the club’s fans, players and technical staff, confirming the end of his spell at the Phobians as he completes a move to South African Premiership side Stellenbosch FC.
The shot-stopper, who joined Hearts of Oak from Dreams FC in August 2025, used the message to thank everyone who was part of his journey at the club, describing his time in the famous red and yellow as one that will “stay with him forever.”

Agbasi enjoyed a productive season at the Accra-based club, building on the reputation he had established during his years with Dreams FC, where his consistency and shot-stopping ability made him one of the most reliable goalkeepers in the Ghana Premier League.
His form was also recognised at the national level, with the 25-year-old named in the Black Stars’ provisional squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, though he ultimately did not make the final selection for the tournament.
