A selected team of talented amateur boxers will carry Ghana’s flag to Lafayette, Louisiana, for the highly anticipated Battle of the Torch IV Tournament, scheduled for July 25–26, 2026. The event marks a major achievement in Ghana Boxing Federation’s (GBF) strategic effort to elevate the amateur boxing program onto the global stage.
The event is organized by Brock Promotions in collaboration with USA Boxing. The two-day tournament will feature a competitive lineup of amateur bouts, with Ghana squaring off against host nation United States in what promises to be a high-level international spotlight.
The participation of Team Ghana forms part of a broader strategic initiative led by the Ghana Boxing Federation (GBF) to elevate the standard of amateur boxing in the country.
