The leadership of the Mini Football Association Ghana (MAG) has paid a courtesy call on the Director-General of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, in a visit aimed at formally introducing the association and its executives to the country’s apex sports administration body.

Also present at the meeting was Daniel Kotey Adjei, Chief Executive Officer of Suniel, the official kit sponsors of Ghana’s national mini football teams, affirming the growing corporate interest and investment behind the sport’s development at the national level. Representing the playing side of the discipline was the team’s female brand ambassador, Paulina Addae, who attended the courtesy call dressed in the national team’s branded jersey.
The courtesy call forms part of a broader pattern of engagement between newly organised football disciplines and the NSA, as the Authority continues to receive federations and associations seeking recognition, guidance, and support for their development programmes.

For MAG, the visit represents a formal step in establishing its presence within Ghana’s football governance landscape and signals its ambitions to grow the mini football code nationally.
The presence of both the association’s administrative leadership and its commercial partners at the meeting reflects an early effort to present a united front to the NSA, combining governance structure with sponsorship backing and public representation through the team’s brand ambassador.
Officials from both sides used the occasion to discuss avenues for collaboration between MAG and the Authority going forward.
The meeting is expected to be the first of further engagements between the Mini Football Association Ghana and the National Sports Authority as the association works to build structures for the discipline’s growth across the country.
