The Organizing committee for the Milano Cortina 2026 have unveiled the official designs of the podiums to be used for the Olympic Winter and Paralympic games slated for 29th October 2025.
The official podiums created by Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 in partnership with cavaletti plus Pagliariccio studio, the podium is a combination of modern design with Italian Artistry, showcasing the specification of this edition through color transitions and shades that showcases it’s visual identify.
The platform was revealed during an event in Italy, Milan that clashed with the hundred days for the opening ceremony of the Olympic winter games, which is scheduled from February 6 -22, 2026.
6th March 2026 , will open the Paralympic Winter Games and will feature up to 665 athletes participating in six sporting disciplines: Para alpine skiing, para biathlon, para cross-country, para ice hockey, para snowboard and wheelchair curling.
The podiums stand out for a number of key features, as well as their simplicity, modularity, uniqueness and dynamism, which are guiding principles that have inspired not only the design of the podiums, but the entire system of objects and sets created for the Victory Ceremonies
Crafted from wood and metal, the podiums are designed to adapt to different disciplines, both individual and team events, with the capacity to accommodate up to 10 athletes per medal. They are fully accessible, featuring ramps and anti-fall curbs
Furthermore, as part of the ‘Campioni Ogni Giorno’ (Champions Every Day) initiative, P&G, Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner, together with Esselunga and Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026, will commit to giving the podiums a second life. At the end of Esselunga’s Amici di Scuola e dello Sport (Friends of School and Sport) campaign, amateur sports clubs that promote inclusive sporting activities will be selected and assigned an official podium, with the aim of allocating at least one to each of the regions where Esselunga operates.
