The Ghana Taekwondo Federation (GTF) has appointed Prince Ayim Brown as its Communications Officer, effective 7 September 2026, in a move the Federation says is designed to sharpen its media presence and tell the story of taekwondo in Ghana more effectively.
The appointment brings a seasoned broadcast journalist into the heart of the Federation’s operations at a time when GTF is looking to deepen public engagement, improve documentation of its programmes, and build a stronger digital footprint across its competitions and grassroots activities.
Ayim Brown arrives with more than fifteen years of experience spanning sports journalism, broadcasting, news production and media management. His career includes roles at Happy FM, ETV Ghana and Amansan Television, where he held senior positions across sports desks and newsrooms covering major sporting events in Ghana and internationally.
He is a member of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) and the International Sports Press Association (AIPS)
What the Role Covers
In his new capacity, Ayim Brown will take charge of the Federation’s official communications and be responsible for a broad remit that touches every part of GTF’s public-facing operations. His responsibilities will include:
Leading the Federation’s official communications
Managing GTF’s social media and digital platforms
Documenting the Federation’s activities, programmes and competitions
Preparing press releases and media content
Strengthening media engagement and coverage of taekwondo in Ghana
