GFA President Engages Northern Region Football Stakeholders in Tamale
President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, has continued his nationwide stakeholder engagement drive with a productive and engaging meeting with football administrators and officials of the Northern Regional Football Association in Tamale.
The meeting, held at the Tamale Stadium, brought together NRFA executives, club owners and Chief Executives, senior referees, match commissioners and Catch Them Young referees to deliberate on key issues affecting football development in the region.
It formed part of the GFA President’s tour of the Northern Region aimed at strengthening collaboration and advancing the growth of the game.
Northern Regional FA Chairman, Alhaji Abu-Hassan Rhyzo, welcomed President Simeon-Okraku and his delegation, commending the GFA for the consistent support and development initiatives extended to the region under the current administration.

President Simeon-Okraku highlighted the progress made since taking office, outlining major investments and policy reforms designed to improve football structures nationwide.
He reiterated the GFA’s strong focus on grassroots football, youth development, referee empowerment and capacity building at all levels.
The interactive session allowed stakeholders to share feedback and offer practical suggestions, with the GFA President assuring participants that their input remains vital in shaping policies and ensuring sustainable football development across the country.
