After weeks of intense speculation, the rematch between Jonathan “Worldwide” Tetteh and Freezy Macbones has been officially confirmed.

Both fighters formally signed their agreements setting the stage for a blockbuster bout scheduled to take place in Kumasi this August.

The announcement marks the formal resurrection of one of the most talked-about rivalries in Ghana’s boxing fraternity.

The rematch is being promoted by Box Office Sports Promotions in collaboration with RBS Promotions, two outfits widely recognized for delivering well-organized, commercially significant fight nights.

Ahead of the main event, a public signing ceremony was held at the Independence Arch Gardens in Accra.

The event drew a massive crowd, with fans eager to witness the two fighters come face to face once again before officially sealing the deal.

 

Jonathan Tetteh, known as “Worldwide,” enters the rematch looking to assert his dominance Freezy Macbones. On the other side, Freezy Macbones is determined to make a strong statement and settle scores in an emphatic fashion.

With pride, reputation, and bragging rights on the line, the August rematch is shaping up to be a must-watch bout.

The Ashanti Regional capital is expected to come alive when Babayara Sports Stadium hosts the high-stakes bout, drawing supporters from Bukom and beyond.
