Bechem United FC has officially moved to distance itself from public statements made by the club’s Assistant Coach, Mallam Yahaya. The remarks in question were made during various interviews following sanctions issued by the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association.

In a formal club notice signed by the Chief Executive Officer, Kingsley Osei Bonsu, the club made it unequivocally clear that Mallam Yahaya’s statements represent his personal opinions alone and do not reflect the position, views, or values of Bechem United FC.

The club reiterated that discipline remains a fundamental principle upheld at all levels. It stressed that all stakeholders including staff, technical team members, players, supporters, and any individual associated with the club must adhere strictly to the expected standards of conduct.

“As a club, we maintain a zero-tolerance policy for acts of indiscipline,” the statement read. “We remain committed to cooperating fully with all regulatory bodies and allowing the law to take its full course whenever any individual is found to be in breach of the rules.”

Bechem United FC reaffirmed its commitment to professionalism, respect, and integrity, vowing to uphold these values without compromise.

The club did not announce any immediate disciplinary action against the assistant coach, but the notice strongly suggests that further internal measures may be taken in line with the club’s code of conduct.
