Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture and Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, John Dumelo, has endorsed the All Star Festival 2026 (ASF26), calling on parents and families across the capital to attend the two-day event at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium in Legon.

In a personal appeal shared ahead of the festival, Mr Dumelo described the event as a family-friendly occasion built around football and a variety of entertainment for children and adults.

The deputy minister who has increasingly used his political platform to champion grassroots and community initiatives, said he would personally be present at the festival alongside long-time collaborator Dr. Ernest Koranteng.

Mr Dumelo emphasised that the festival is designed with families in mind, encouraging parents to bring their children to the event, The BAC Group, have billed as a full day of soccer action alongside other recreational and entertainment activities suited to all ages.

The All Star Festival has, over recent editions, grown into one of the more sporting events for families, blending sport with entertainment in a single-venue experience.
