Coach Dr. Ofori Asare, head trainer of world super flyweight contender Theophilus Allotey, has expressed gratitude to the fans who rallied behind Team Allotey following his commanding performance at the Osagyefo Fight Night held at the Bukom Boxing Arena on Saturday, September 19.
The experienced trainer said the team remains firmly on course, with their sights set on a world title shot. Dr. Asare was supported at ringside by Elvis Robertson of Akotoku Academy and Vincent Akai Nettey of Attoh Quarshie Boxing Club, while Ebenezer Adjei and other assistants from Wisdom Boxing Gym were also present, contributing in various capacities.
Speaking after his bout against Argentina’s Facundo David Garcia, Allotey said the fight unfolded largely as anticipated, crediting thorough preparation and film study of his opponent for his composure in the ring.
He explained that after dominating the early exchanges from rounds one through nine, Garcia stepped up the pressure in search of a knockout during the championship rounds, ten through twelve. However, Team Allotey had a clear strategy in place, allowing him to maintain control and put on a strong display for the fans.

Allotey reaffirmed his ambition to bring a world title home to Ghana, stating that he already carries himself like a champion and is targeting undisputed status across multiple weight divisions.
With a professional record of 15-0-0, Allotey has established himself as the face of Ghanaian boxing. His discipline and consistent performances have earned him a contract with Legacy Rise Sports Promotions, whose international connections position him well for a potential world title opportunity in the near future.
