The Chief Executive Officer of The Multimedia Group, Kwasi Twum, has thrown his full support behind the All Star Festival (ASF), endorsing the highly anticipated sporting and entertainment event ahead of its July 2026 edition in Accra.

Widely regarded as one of Ghana’s most influential media executives, Kwasi Twum has spent more than three decades building The Multimedia Group into one of the country’s leading media Houses. Under his leadership, the group has grown to include renowned brands such as Joy FM, Asempa FM, Hitz FM, Luv FM, Nhyira FM, several television platforms, and the digital news portal Myjoyonline.com.

His endorsement serves as a strong vote of confidence in the All Star Festival, an event designed to bring together sports, entertainment, business, and community engagement in a unique festival atmosphere.

Speaking during a presentation of an official invitation to the event, Chief Executive of the BAC Group and founder of the All Star Festival, Dr. Ernest Koranteng, described the ASF as much more than a football match.

This is a carnival; it’s an expo. Sports is the premise, but we’re bringing in everything,” Dr. Koranteng said.

According to him, the festival will provide a memorable experience for families, with a dedicated children’s play area where young fans will have the opportunity to interact with international football stars through football clinics and fun activities.

We’re asking parents to bring their kids because there will be a big play area for them and an opportunity to have sessions with international footballers whom many of them look up to,” he explained.

The festival will also feature curtain-raiser matches involving Accra Academy and Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School (PRESEC), Legon, as part of efforts to identify and nurture emerging football talents.

We believe there is immense talent in our schools. As the current stars progress, we must discover younger players who can follow in their footsteps,” Dr. Koranteng noted.

Beyond football, the event will host a vibrant vendor exhibition featuring businesses from various sectors, including automobiles, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), fashion and many more.

The main attraction of the day will be the All-Star Game, featuring football stars based both at home and abroad, who will take to the field not only to entertain fans but also to deepen their connection with communities.

Dr. Koranteng revealed that the festival will run from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., promising an entire day of excitement, entertainment, networking, and sporting excellence.

Accepting the invitation, Kwasi Twum encouraged fans to be part of the experience.

Indeed, for all those watching, on 11th July at the University of Ghana Stadium, be there. I’ll be there, so be there,” he said.
