The Ghana Commonwealth Games Association has officially unveiled The Hope Brand, known by the acronym THB, as the exclusive kit supplier for Team Ghana at the 2026 Commonwealth Games, scheduled to take place in Glasgow, Scotland.

Team Ghana will step onto the global stage in Glasgow draped in the colours of a new partnership one that promises not only performance-grade apparel but a bold statement of national identity.

With 46 days remaining to the opening ceremony, signals a landmark moment in Ghana sports outfitting with THB.

The kit collection, which spans training wear, competition uniforms, bags, and accessories, is rendered predominantly in Ghana’s national colours of gold, green, red, and black, a visual affirmation of identity that athletes will carry from the warm-up track to the medal podium.

THB is a symbol of quality, innovation, and confidence. It embodies the spirit of Ghana: bold, resilient, vibrant.

The partnership is expected to extend beyond the transactional provision of uniforms. THB’s backing represents an institutional confidence in Team Ghana. A commitment to ensuring that athletes represent their country with dignity and distinction in every aspect of their presentation. In a global arena where appearance communicates strength, Team Ghana will arrive in Glasgow looking the part.

The Campaign

“From Ghana to Glasgow for Gold”

Team Ghana will march under the official campaign slogan, “Team Ghana: From Ghana to Glasgow for Gold”, a declaration of purpose that encapsulates the ambition driving the delegation. Close to 40 athletes are expected to make up the Ghanaian contingent, competing across nine disciplines: athletics, boxing, judo, para-athletics, para-powerlifting, para-swimming, swimming, track cycling, and weightlifting.

The inclusion of five para-sports disciplines in the squad, para-athletics, para-powerlifting, and para-swimming affirms a growing commitment within Para sport to the principle of inclusive excellence, ensuring that athletes of all abilities carry the Black Star of Ghana into international competition with equal strength and institutional support.

Ghana’s history at the Commonwealth Games is an enviable one written in grit, sweat, and undeniable glory. Across the last 21 editions of the Games, excluding the Edinburgh 1986 edition, Ghana has accumulated an impressive haul of 63 medals, across generations and disciplines.

It is a legacy that places tremendous expectation on every athlete who wears the national colours in Glasgow.

The Class of 2026, equipped with The Hope Brand kit and fuelled by the campaign’s mandate, will seek to extend that record and add new chapters to an already storied Commonwealth Games history.
