Hearts of Oak coach, Abubakar Ouattara has taken the full blame for his side’s defeat to Samartex in the Ghana Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Samartex beat Hearts of 2-1 at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena in Samreboi, to end the Phobians run of five games without defeat under Head Coach Abubakar Ouattara.

The head of the Hearts of Oak’s technical team, Ouattara has however taken full responsibility for the loss.

In his post-match interview, he said “I made a bad choice and it affected the team. It’s my fault, I will go back and correct myself before I speak to the players”.

Evans Osei Wusu scored to give Samartex the lead on the 25th minute but it was cancelled out by Hamza Issah, who scored his ninth goal of the season in the 77th minute.

However, Evans Osei Wusu scored his second goal of the day moments after the Hearts equalizer to put them 2-1 up in the 81st minute.

This win extends Samartex’s lead at the top of the league log to 5 points ahead of second placed Nations FC who have played a game less.
