The Technical Committee of the Nigeria Boxing Federation (NBF) has selected forty boxers to take part in the final phase of the country’s 2026 Commonwealth Games camping exercise, which will be held at the National Stadium complex in Surulere, Lagos.

The majority of those invited earned their spots by reaching the finals of the National Open Boxing Trials, which took place between March 1st and 6th, 2026. The squad is evenly split between twenty male and twenty female boxers, covering all recognised weight categories.

The federation has already sent out formal invitation letters to the selected boxers, their coaches, and other members of the technical team, signalling the beginning of what promises to be an intensive build-up campaign.
