Didi Dramani Rallies Hearts Fans Ahead of Aduana Clash

Accra Hearts of Oak SC head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has called on the club’s faithful to troop to the Accra Sports Stadium and throw their full support behind the team when they host Aduana Stars FC in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

Dramani, speaking during his pre-match press briefing, stressed the importance of the supporters as the Phobians push for a strong finish to the season against the Fire Boys.

Speaking on the role of the supporters, the Hearts coach said:

The fans, they have always been what we have and we cherish all that they are doing. They should keep massing up and they should come in their numbers to continue to support us.”

He also assured the supporters that the technical team and players are working tirelessly to improve the club’s performances and return the side to winning ways.

“We are doing everything possible to turn the ways of the team and put in the right measures so that we can turn into winning ways. Thank you very much.”

Hearts head into the clash with mixed results from their last five matches, having recorded two wins, two draws and one defeat.

Their home form, however, remains a concern. Although the Phobians have suffered just one home defeat all season, they have managed only one win in their last seven matches at the Accra Sports Stadium, drawing six times, with five of those games ending goalless.

The hosts can, however, draw confidence from the poor recent form of their visitors. Aduana have managed just one victory in their last six league outings.

Their struggles on the road have been even more worrying. The Fire Boys are winless in their last five away matches, losing their last four and scoring only once in that run. Their only point during that spell came in a 1-1 draw against Medeama SC in Tarkwa nearly two months ago.

Despite their contrasting away and home records, only four points separate Hearts, who sit third with 50 points, and Aduana, who occupy sixth place on 46 points heading into the weekend fixture.

With three games left to play, both sides will aim to put up their best performances yet as the season draws to a conclusion.
