Ghanaian born British, Light Heavyweight Boxer Joshua Buatsi yesterday morning paid a visit to the Director General of the National Sports Authority-NSA, Yaw Ampofo Ankrah at his office in Accra to brief him on his progress and other related developments in the sports.
Buatsi who is currently listed 7th in the WBA global rankings, won bronze at the 2016 Olympic games held in Rio de Jainero-Brazil for Britain, he earlier had a stints with the Ghana national boxing team , Black Bombers in 2012 alongside the former WBO Super Bantamweight champion- Isaac Dogboe.
Whilst in the country, he paid a visit to the family of late Ernest Akushey aka Buahubali and made a personal donation of GHC20,000 to the family for the upkeep of his widow and 6 months old child as well as help with the funeral arrangements that is slated for 6th December, 2025 In Chorkor,Accra.
He was accompanied to the NSA Director General by Charles Jojo Ephson(Communication and Administrative Officer of the Ghana Boxing Federation-GBF and Yussif Nanor(The Match Maker at Legacy Rise Promotions).
