The countdown to Ghana’s biggest off-season football gathering has entered its final stretch, with The BAC Group confirming the marquee ASF26, the festival will pull together some of the country’s most recognisable footballing faces at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on Saturday, July 11, 2026.

Billed as “The ASF26 Experience,” the All Star Festival returns for its 2026 edition under the tagline of Africa’s official off-season football gathering. The ASF26, it’s an exhibition contest that brings together professional and Black Stars-affiliated talent for a day of football, entertainment and Business.

Headlining the announced line-up are three familiar names: Solomon Agbasi, defender Jonas Adjetey, and forward Ibrahim Sadiq. Agbasi, who plays his club football with Accra Hearts of Oak SC, and Adjetey, currently on the books at VfL Wolfsburg, both featured in Ghana’s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, giving the exhibition an added layer of star power just weeks after the global tournament.

The fixture forms part of a broader four-day programme that the BAC group has been substantially expanded for 2026. Beyond the football, the festival programming folds in business and family-oriented elements designed to widen its appeal beyond die-hard football audiences.

A Bigger Festival, Not Just a Bigger Match

This year’s edition runs across two main matchdays at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, opening with a curtain-raiser fixture between two of Ghana’s oldest secondary school football rivals before building toward the star-studded weekend programme.

The BAC group have expanded the event beyond football this year, introducing a Family Day concept complete with a dedicated Kids’ Play Zone alongside a business convocation component, signalling an ambition to position ASF26 as a destination event rather than a single-day football spectacle.

The additions are aimed at making the festival appealing to families, allowing children to be entertained while parents enjoy the football and other activities in a safe environment.
