Berraf, who is also a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and Vice-President of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC), said Ghana’s showing at Glasgow resonated well beyond the country’s borders, reinforcing the growing influence of African nations on the world sporting stage and serving as a model of determination and discipline for young athletes across the continent.
