Didi Dramani unfazed by Asare’s absence as Hearts brace for All Blacks clash
Hearts of Oak head coach, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, has downplayed concerns over the absence of first-choice goalkeeper Benjamin Asare as they prepare to host Swedru All Blacks in the Ghana Premier League this weekend.

The Phobians will welcome All Blacks to the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, with Solomon Agbasi expected to step in between the posts in place of Asare, who is currently away on international duty with Ghana’s Black Stars.
Despite the absence of his regular shot-stopper, Dramani insists his side remains well-equipped to cope.
“I think that no, in that area (goalkeeping) we have co-number ones and so in the absence of one, the other one has the opportunity to roll in. We’re okay,” he said.
The experienced tactician emphasized the depth within his squad, expressing confidence in Agbasi’s ability to deliver when called upon.
Dramani also took a moment to back Asare, who is part of the Black Stars squad set for upcoming international friendlies against Austria and Germany.
“We’re not thinking about his absence. We just wish him well and to do well for Ghana. He has done his best for this club and that’s why we always wish him the best,” he added.
Benjamin Asare, since his debut call up to the senior national team has been chosen as the number one, displacing Lawrence Ati Zigi in post with his impressive displays.

Hearts of Oak head into the fixture aiming to regain momentum in the league, with Dramani keen to ensure his side stays focused despite the temporary reshuffle in goal.
