Joseph Paintsil On Target in LA Galaxy Draw
Joseph Paintsil was on the scoresheet for LA Galaxy in their 1-1 draw against Houston Dynamo FC in the Major League Soccer.
The 28-year-old opened the scoring in the 28th minute after being set up by Japanese defender Miki Yamane.
It was Paintsil’s third league goal of the campaign and his fifth goal involvement of the season.
Brazilian forward Guilherme Biro restored parity for Houston Dynamo four minutes before half-time.
Paintsil was later replaced by 18-year-old Harbor Miller with 11 minutes of regulation time remaining.
Both sides pushed for a winner after the break but could not find the decisive goal as the match ended level at full time.
The result moves Houston Dynamo up to sixth place in the Western Conference standings with 22 points, while LA Galaxy remain ninth with 20 points after 15 matches.
