Ghana’s senior men’s national football team, the Black Stars, has a new management committee following their disappointing campaign in the 2025 AFCON qualifiers.
The previous committee, led by GFA Vice President Mark Addo, was dissolved by the Ghana Football Association (GFA), after the team failed to qualify for the tournament.
The newly formed five-member committee includes GFA Executive Council Member Dr. Randy Abbey, former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah, Medeama SC President Moses Armah, FC Samartex President Richard Nsenkyire, and Greater Accra Regional Football Association Chairman Samuel Aboabire.
Dr. Randy Abbey has been appointed Chairman of the committee, with Stephen Appiah as Vice Chairman, tasked with overseeing player relations. Matchday operations and activities will be managed by Moses Armah and Samuel Aboabire, while Richard Nsenkyire will focus on special assignments for the team.
The Black Stars will face Chad on March 19 in their next challenge—a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
